COLOMBO, Sri Lanka (AP) — Zimbabwe captain Craig Ervine won the toss and elected to bat first in the third and final one-day international against Sri Lanka at R. Premadasa Stadium on Thursday.
Sri Lanka made two changes from the side that won the second game by two wickets with Shevon Daniel named to make his debut in place of Dasun Shanaka and spinner Wanindu Hasaranga replaced Jeffrey Vandersay.
Zimbabwe made three changes with opener Takudzwanashe Kaitano, Wellington Masakadza, and Luke Jongwe coming in, while Tinashe Kamunhukamwe, Faraz Akram and Tapiwa Mufudza miss out.
Sri Lanka leads the three-game series 1-0.
The first game was abandoned due to rain.
