Rozier did not travel to Philadelphia for the game but there’s hope he could be available for a second Play-In game, if necessary, or the first round of the playoffs.
Rozier missed the final four games of the regular season due to the injury, which has been described as neck spasms.
What this means:Â The Heat need a win on Wednesday to lock up the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference and a first-round matchup against the New York Knicks. If they lose to the Sixers, then they will need a win on Friday to secure the No. 8 seed and a return to the playoffs.
Rozier was a major mid-season acquisition for the Heat, who have relied on his scoring abilities since he was acquired in a trade with the Hornets on Jan. 23. The 30-year-old guard has averaged 16.4 points, 4.6 assists and 4.2 rebounds over 31 games with Miami this season.
