Starkville Habitat for Humanity recently received a check for $10,000 from East Mississippi Lumber Company in sponsorship of their annual golf tournament.
Starkville Habitat’s largest fundraiser of the year, the tournament will fund the organization’s mission to continue to provide adequate housing in Oktibbeha County.
East Mississippi Lumber Company has been Starkville’s locally-owned hardware, lumber, and building materials store since 1938. They are a full service lumberyard and home center specializing in hardware needs and much more.
Starkville Habitat for Humanity’s Executive Director Amanda Henry commented on the organization’s enthusiasm for receiving the support from the local business as well as extended gratitude for the partnership that they have established over the years.
