Hard freeze warning & wind chill advisory until Wed AM

It turns bone-chilling cold Wednesday morning with lows in the teens and wind chills in the single digits.

Dangerously low wind chill values are in store tonight into Wednesday morning and that is when a Wind Chill Advisory is in effect. Wind chills as low as 0 to 5 above zero are possible. Also , a Hard Freeze Warning is in effect during that same time frame tonight through 9AM Wednesday with lows in the teens. Remember to protect people, pets, pipes, plants and the importance of using a safe heating method. Exposed pipes and unprotected outdoor plumbing can burst in these frigid temperatures. Make sure exposed pipes and unprotected outdoor plumbing are covered or insulated. Turn off outdoor sprinklers.

Temperatures climb into the 50s for Thursday & Friday. A few showers are possible late Thursday into early Friday with colder air to follow for the upcoming weekend.

Saturday and Sunday start out in the sub-freezing zone with wake up temperatures in the low to mid 20s both mornings. Highs will be in the lower 40s Saturday then upper 40s by Sunday. Sunshine dominates both days.
