WEST BEND — The Downtown West Bend Association (DWBA) held their annual Wine Hop on Saturday, and thanks to the beautiful weather everything was “Coming Up Rosé” for event patrons who sampled wine at some of the 20 stops downtown.
In addition to sampling a variety of wines, the perfect weather allowed people the chance to stroll through downtown for some window shopping, as well as the chance to take advantage of numerous specials at restaurants in the area.
“It was a beautiful day and a really wonderful, successful event,” said DWBA Executive Director Noelle Braun. “People really showed up and embraced the floral theme, and we had a lot of really fun costume ideas from groups that dressed for the event.”
Braun also thanked the Museum of Wisconsin Art (the registration location for the event), all of the sponsors — including Baird, who was a premier sponsor — and all the volunteers and DWBA staff, as well as the participating shops and restaurants, for making the event the success that it was.
