FINANCE minister Mthuli Ncube is today expected to present the 2024 national budget amid calls by industry for a review of Zimbabwe’s tax system, which has compromised the operating environment.
The event, which will be broadcast live by independent television station 3Ktv, comes at a time industry is reeling from a variety of problems, including persistent power cuts, currency volatility, retention issues and other constraints.
As such, many industries including mining, manufacturers, small scale enterprises and individuals are crying about these issues as well as taxation.
