Joe Coffee (Pineapple and Hicks Street) — On a leafy corner just like the Waverly Place original, just bigger and in Brooklyn.
Clark’s (80 Clark Street) — Definitely the place to go for a full breakfast.
Lassen & Hennings (114 Montague Street) — A classic deli, in business since 1949. The ‘Botanical Gardens’ sandwich is Vicki’s favorite.
Tango (145 Montague Street) — A high-end women’s fashion boutique that’s been a staple of the neighborhood for half a century.
Housing Works (150 Montague Street) — Thrifting for a cause.
Sake Tumi (118 Montague Street) — A cozy bistro in a historic townhouse serving up sushi, Thai and Malaysian dishes, and more.
James Weir Floral Co. (107 Montague Street) — Brooklyn’s oldest florist, opened in 1853! The arrangements are as beautiful as ever.
