As the Castle Lager Premiership season is coming to an end, there is one player who has stood out amongst the crowd.
Kim Joe Sibanda (23), a young left back, has performed spectacularly for Bulawayo Chiefs, and it is clear that he is destined for greatness.
In his first season with Bulawayo Chiefs, Sibanda has taken the league by storm.
He has already played more than 15 matches and is a vital part of the Amakhosi success who are sitting in position eight of the log standings
Despite being new to the team, he has quickly established himself as a key player with his ability to dribble past opponents and cross the balls.

This has earned him the nickname “Marcelo,” a tribute to a former Brazilian and Real Madrid defender.
Sibanda praised his captain Mthokozisi Msebe for being a rock to him when he joined Amakhosi from lowly Southern Region Division One side Talenvision in January.
“Thanks to my captain Mthokozisi Msebe who helped me to settle when I joined the club not forgetting my other teammates,” he said.
Sibanda said the highlight of his career was when they clobbered former league champions Dynamos FC twice this season and he played in both games.
“It was an unforgettable moment, one that I will always cherish, to beat a team like Dynamos, and to do it twice in one season, was a dream come true”, said the impenetrable defender.
In a thrilling midweek showdown, Sibanda’s Bulawayo Chiefs will face off against Hwange FC in a league encounter at Luveve Stadium on Thursday.
